Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNone
Duties/Responsibilities- Perform all aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with Flight check’s RSM, QCM, customers’ procedures, FARs, and all other applicable rules and regulations
- Accomplish job functions to the highest safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency standards
- Complete aircraft maintenance work assignments to the highest standards to ensure aircraft airworthiness
- Read, interpret, and comply with all aircraft maintenance manuals and other maintenance documents to complete work assignments
- Properly use and operate support equipment in performance of assigned duties, i.e., servicing units, jacks, lifts, calibrated tooling, etc
- Ensure all company, customer, and regulatory documents are complete and accurate
- Deliver excellent customer service by maintaining clear, professional communication at all times
- Occasional travel
- Perform other duties as required
- Ability to read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions in the same language
- Excellent communication and customer service-oriented
- Provide own tools in accordance with the company minimum tool list
- Must be able to pass background checks and pre-employment drug screening and obtain a security badge for the airfield
- 3-5 years of experience
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to climb and work on ladders and platforms ranging from 6 to 10 feet tall
- Ability to sit, stand, bend or twist for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds
- Ability to operate under extreme weather conditions and in confined spaces for extended periods
- Potential exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic chemicals, and moving mechanical parts
- Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat as well as other possible various weather elements
- Noise level is typically loud
