Entry Level Pump Techs

Pump Techs at Granite Construction Incorporated play a vital role in supporting water pump installation and maintenance projects. This entry-level position is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy outdoor work and are willing to travel. The ideal candidate is dependable, able to work in small teams, and comfortable with physical labor in varying weather conditions.

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with heavier components
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight for up to 2 weeks at a time
- Mechanically inclined; experience with hydraulic pumps a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to stand for 10–12-hour shifts
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work in small teams and independently
- Must comply with all safety and quality procedures
- Construction site experience or similar outdoor industry experience preferred
- CDL A or B license preferred
- Experience with hydraulic pumps a plus
