Brookside Properties is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join a 340-unit apartment community in Louisville, KY. This is a great opportunity for a hands‑on professional who takes pride in quality work and wants long‑term stability with a growing company.

- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous multifamily/apartment maintenance experience preferred
- HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, or general maintenance experience
- EPA Certification preferred (not required)
- CPO Certification preferred (not required) for pool maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to respond to after‑hours emergency maintenance calls/on‑call rotation
- Basic hand tools and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Complete maintenance service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Perform unit turns and prepare apartments for new residents
- Maintain building systems, common areas, and grounds
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
- Respond to emergency maintenance needs, including after‑hours calls
- Support property safety standards, inspections, and compliance requirements
- Assist with maintaining inventory and maintenance supplies
The Role
You’ll play a key role in maintaining a well‑run community by delivering reliable repairs, supporting resident satisfaction, and helping keep the property operating smoothly.
