SFCC Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions to support enterprise scale eCommerce platforms.
• Build and customize SFCC storefront functionality, applying best practices for scalable and maintainable commerce solutions.
• Develop integrations and APIs to connect Commerce Cloud with external systems such as order management, payment gateways, inventory, and third‑party services.
• Implement and enhance UI components for commerce applications, ensuring a high‑quality user experience and responsiveness.
• Optimize application and storefront performance, including page load times, rendering, and backend interactions.
• Develop and maintain custom controllers, pipelines, hooks, and services within SFCC.
• Work with JavaScript‑based SFCC frameworks and modern frontend technologies (e.g., React where applicable).
• Ensure seamless frontend–backend integration across commerce and enterprise systems.
• Perform debugging, issue analysis, and defect fixes across development and production environments.
• Support commerce releases, deployments, and post‑release stabilization.
• Ensure adherence to security, performance, and scalability standards for eCommerce platforms.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum delivery, owning commerce‑related user stories end to end.
• Maintain documentation for commerce configurations, integrations, and custom implementations.
• Collaborate with UX designers, backend teams, QA, and Dev Ops to deliver high‑quality commerce solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to SFCC and commerce best practices.
• Translate functional requirements into scalable commerce implementations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of commerce architecture, tooling, and processes.
• Mentor junior developers when required and support overall team delivery quality.

Bachelor of Computer Science

$120,000 – $140,000 per year
