Senior MuleSoft Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mule Soft Integration Architect / Senior Mule Soft Developer to design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise integration solutions using Mule Soft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in API‑led connectivity, Salesforce integrations, enterprise application integration, cloud deployments, and integration architecture within large enterprise or government environments.

• Design, develop, deploy, and support Mule Soft integration solutions using Mule ESB and Anypoint Platform.
• Design and implement API‑led connectivity solutions aligned with enterprise integration standards.
• Develop APIs and integrations using REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, JMS, and event‑driven integration patterns.
• Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable integration services and APIs.
• Develop data transformations, validations, mappings, and business logic for enterprise integrations.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Support modernization and migration of legacy integrations to Mule Soft‑based solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, infrastructure teams, database administrators, and application teams to design enterprise integration solutions.
• Participate in architecture reviews and support enterprise integration strategy and roadmap initiatives.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards, security requirements, and architectural best practices.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development and integration teams.
• Configure, deploy, and support Mule Soft applications in Cloud Hub and hybrid environments.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, Maven, or similar technologies.
• Implement secure integration practices including OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS/SSL, encryption, and API security policies.
• Monitor integration performance and perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support activities.
• Develop and execute unit testing using MUnit and related testing frameworks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, operational runbooks, and support procedures.

• Mule Soft Developer certification and/or Mule Soft Architect level certifications.
• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience with Anypoint Platform and Mule Soft integration development.
• Experience integrating Salesforce and Mule Soft platforms.
• Strong experience in Application Integration Architecture, Solution Design, and Development using SOAP and REST services.
• Strong programming skills using J2EE, Design Patterns, JMS, SOAP/REST Web Services, Spring Framework, and XML/JSON processing.
• Strong knowledge of ESB architecture, Mule Connectors Manager, and RAML design.
• Experience designing and developing enterprise APIs and integration solutions.
• Experience working within large enterprise or government environments.
• Experience with Git‑based source control and CI/CD deployment practices.
• Experience implementing secure API and integration solutions.

• Mule Soft Architect‑level certifications are strongly preferred.
• Salesforce certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience with Python or other modern programming languages is a plus.
• Experience with Cloud Hub, Azure cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Splunk, Dynatrace, ELK, App Dynamics, or similar technologies is preferred.
• Experience supporting mission‑critical enterprise applications and production environments is highly valued.
• Hybrid work schedule with mandatory onsite presence on Wednesdays in Columbus, Ohio.

work hours need to be flexible with occasional night and weekend work for solution remediation or emergency issues. These hours outside typical business hours are remote.
