Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions for enterprise eCommerce platforms.
- Build and customize SFCC storefront functionality using best practices for scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Develop integrations and APIs connecting SFCC with external systems such as OMS, payment gateways, inventory, and third‑party services.
- Implement and enhance UI components to ensure responsive, high‑quality user experience.
- Optimize storefront and application performance including page load time, rendering, and backend processing.
- Develop and maintain SFCC components such as controllers, pipelines, hooks, and services.
- Ensure seamless integration between frontend storefront and backend systems.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and defect resolution across development and production environments.
- Support release cycles, deployments, and post‑release stabilization activities.
- Ensure adherence to security, scalability, and performance standards for commerce applications.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliver user stories end‑to‑end.
- Maintain technical documentation for configurations, integrations, and custom developments.
- Support ongoing enhancements and maintenance of SFCC platforms.
- Collaborate with UX, QA, backend, and Dev Ops teams for smooth delivery.
- Strong experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and SFCC frameworks (ISML, controllers, pipelines, hooks).
- Experience in building and consuming REST/SOAP APIs for integrations.
- Strong knowledge of eCommerce architecture and storefront development.
- Experience in performance optimization of high‑traffic commerce applications.
- Hands‑on experience in debugging, issue resolution, and production support.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, deployment processes, and release management.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong understanding of UI development and responsive design principles.
- Good problem‑solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
