Job DescriptionAs a Technical Co‑op, you will have the opportunity to imagine, design, build and learn by working on challenging projects that contribute to the growth of GE Appliances. You will collaborate with experienced engineers, receive mentorship, and set specific goals and deliverables throughout your rotation. This co‑op runs from January 1, 2027–May 7, 2027 and includes housing and relocation assistance for eligible students.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Work with your mentor to accomplish established goals that support the business and provide learning opportunities.
- Complete technical assignments in areas such as New Product Introduction, Product Improvement, Modeling and Simulation, Advanced Development, Sourced Products, Software Development, or GEA’s own Micro‑Factory, First Build.
- Attend development and training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and professional development.
- Participate in networking and community volunteer projects.
- Optional events may include lunches, weekend activities, sports, and cookouts.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering).
- Graduation date December 2027 or later.
- Cumulative GPA ≥ 3.0 (out of 4.0).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
- Ability to complete two or more co‑op rotations before graduation.
- Relevant coursework in engineering or computer science.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and a desire and ability to learn.
- Passion for engineering.
