Job Summary

The Senior Engineer, Corporate Solutions is responsible for being a leading participant in an engineering team and contributing to software design, development, and overall product lifecycle for our corporate solutions applications. In addition to working with other engineers and architects, the engineer fields questions from other teams and encourages cross‑team collaboration. The role includes playing an active part in working with third‑party vendors, creating foundational code elements that can be reused, and defining software‑level objectives for applications.

• Build rapid prototypes to explore the viability of solutions fitting the product strategy and, upon stakeholder alignment, scale the solution and product ionize it.
• Identify, implement, and share technical solutions that can be used across the organization.
• Identify unsecured code areas and implement fixes as they are discovered.
• Identify application enhancements (client‑facing or technical) to create a better experience for the end users.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and stakeholders to create meaningful architecture diagrams and other documentation needed for security reviews or other interested parties.
• Define service level objectives for application reliability in production and help prioritize backlog work.
• Write custom code or scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services, and test cases, including destructive testing to ensure adequate resiliency in production.
• Create dashboards, logging, alerting, and responses to ensure issues are captured and addressed proactively.
• Provide application support for software running in production and proactively monitor production and lower‑environment service level objectives.
• Work with vendors to identify and implement feature enhancements in applications.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to create and consume API specifications and contracts for shared data.
• Proactively review the performance and capacity of all aspects of production: code, infrastructure, data, and message processing.
• Triage high‑priority issues and outages as they arise.
• Participate in the Backoffice on‑call schedule.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field (Master’s Degree is a plus).
• 6+ years of backend development experience in Java, with strong proficiency in the Spring Boot ecosystem.
• 4+ years of frontend development experience in JavaScript.
• 4+ years of experience working with SQL.
• Experience with Python for systems scripting, automation, or task orchestration.
• Extensive knowledge of building and deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Direct experience managing containerized workloads inside Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with Git‑based source control (Bitbucket) and dependency management using Apache Maven.
• Experience using AI‑assisted development tools such as Gemini Code Assist or Antigravity.
• Experience building, maintaining, and debugging CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or Harness.
• Strong Linux system administration skills, including terminal navigation, process management, shell scripting, and JVM troubleshooting.
• Experience executing and troubleshooting custom, manual application deployments on remote SSH servers.
• Hands‑on experience with Nexus Repository Manager.
