- Support the development and integration of infotainment software and headunit systems.
- Work with technologies including Java, C, C++, and Android OS
. - Support development of next-generation infotainment platforms across multiple vehicle models.
- Evaluate and support modern infotainment features including:
- Bluetooth
- Apple Car Play
- Voice Recognition
- Connected vehicle technologies
- Support C.A.S.E. initiatives and future infotainment architecture development.
- Perform hands-on testing of infotainment software and system components.
- Develop and execute test requirements and system-level validation activities.
- Support maturation testing across different component configurations.
- Analyze test results and identify performance, functionality, and reliability issues.
- Investigate problems and perform root-cause analysis with suppliers and engineering teams.
- Ensure software and infotainment systems meet defined quality and performance requirements.
- Work with Honda-selected software integration partners and suppliers.
- Communicate Honda requirements and expectations to suppliers.
- Monitor supplier development progress and software maturity.
- Track deliverables, testing activities, milestones, and software releases.
- Coordinate activities such as System Verification and Software GO
.
- Capture and analyze system requirements.
- Develop and issue specifications for infotainment system components.
- Identify critical hardware, software, and communication requirements.
- Prepare clear technical reports, presentations, specifications, and development documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of development and testing activities.
- Communicate technical information effectively with technical experts and cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and testing timelines.
- Track multiple activities simultaneously and ensure timely completion.
- Communicate development status and milestones across different departments.
- Support project planning and prioritization.
- Maintain schedules with a strong focus on quality and delivery.
- Assist and mentor newer team members in supplier and project management activities.
- Research emerging infotainment technologies, architectures, and development methodologies.
- Evaluate future trends in connected vehicle and infotainment systems.
- Propose and develop innovative functions aligned with market and customer requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve development efficiency, quality, and system performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering
, or related field. - Valid Ohio Driver's License
. - Experience or strong interest in software development.
- Experience with one or more of:
- C
- C++
- Java
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project timelines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to build and maintain cooperative relationships with suppliers, engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and Power Point .
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Confluence and Share Point .
- Experience developing or testing automotive infotainment systems

- ESD equipment
- Automotive electronics or vehicle testing experience.
