You'll collaborate with a fun and close-knit agile team to architect, build, test and continuously deliver new features and products to our customers.

The Lead Software Engineer standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software, and lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise throughout the software development lifecycle. Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes. Researches complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards, design principles, and quality guidelines.

Advises leaders to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Candidates must currently reside within a 60-minute commuting distance of, or be willing to relocate to, one of the following metropolitan areas:
Louisville, KY;
Dallas/Frisco, TX;
Tampa/Ft. Lauderdale, FL; or Nashville, TN.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 8 or more years of progressive IT experience as a senior developer in large IT projects 2 or more years of project leadership experience 5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing of software applications and/or infrastructure, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects from conception to completion.

Must be able to effectively communicate with team members, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Must have strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to analyze complex technical challenges, identify optimal solutions, and troubleshoot issues as they arise throughout the development process Must demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying updated on emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
