As a Certified Exercise Coach at The Exercise Coach, you will deliver one-on-one and small-group exercise instruction to clients of all ages. The day-to-day work includes activity and variety. Some examples of a regular week include:
- Lead individual and small-group exercise sessions
- Track fitness results for clients and lead client education
- Grow the business through selling memberships – no cold calling
- Conduct initial consultations and body composition measurements
No fitness experience is necessary, but candidates with experience in personal training or small-group fitness instruction will receive priority consideration. All employees will receive full training in The Exercise Coach methods and technologies and must be able and willing to participate in our exercise and nutrition methodology.

Skills:
Comfortable conversing in person and on the phone; able to deliver clear instructions professionally. - People skills and personality: You must LOVE working with people and show energy and excitement with clients.
- Health and Fitness
Education:
A college degree in a health-related field is nice but not required. Foundational knowledge of exercise science and human biology is essential. A working knowledge of the human body and components of good health is expected.

Certification- Successful completion of The Exercise Coach Certification Course (online and in studio)
- Valid CPR/AED certificate from a nationally-recognized provider
- Must be eligible to work in the USA
- Sales – no cold calls here; we source and track social media leads & referrals through the sales process
- Experience with various strength training applications
- Experience working with adults and their various conditions
- Basic nutrition knowledge
