Position

Description:

The Football Operations Coordinator V (Football Operations Coordinator) supports the daily operations of the University of Louisville's Division I Football Program, working directly under the Chief of Staff for Football and collaborating with key areas within the Department of Athletics, including Compliance, Ticket Office, Travel, and Recruiting. The role also partners with campus departments, including Admissions, Campus Housing, and Financial Aid, to ensure effective coordination that supports both student‑athlete needs and overall program initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate and oversee scholarship signed student‑athletes steps of enrollment. Liaison with admissions, orientation, and housing serves as a point‑of‑contact for parents and counselors, and helps incoming players with NCAA eligibility and admissions checklists.
  • Coordinate and oversee student‑athletes transition into college setting and continuation with current athletes during their duration at the university, to include student IDs, per diem cards, housing assignments, bowl game needs, additional aid, and monthly stipends.
  • Gather and evaluate high school transcripts and test scores for preliminary eligibility.
  • Partner with the Chief of Staff for Football and Athletics Compliance to support and address all compliance‑related matters.
  • Prepare and distribute National Letters of Intent to incoming student athletes as well as yearly Financial Aid Agreements to current scholarship roster.
  • Coordinate student‑athlete game tickets through ARMS database and manage player‑pass list at regular and postseason ticket gates.
  • Coordinate and manage housing for scholarship student‑athletes.
  • Coordinate and oversee the preparation and implementation of football‑related events, including Pro‑Day, Senior Banquet, Alumni Cookout, and Freshman Move‑In weekend.
  • Support the Director of Player Development in delivering career and personal development through the L.A.B. Program.
  • Oversee all recruiting travel for coaches to include flight, hotel, and rental car.
  • Assist the Chief of Staff with the day‑to‑day operations of the Football program.
  • Assist the Chief of Staff with coordinating both home and away team travel, including flight manifests, bus scheduling and assignments, hotel arrangements, and related logistics.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, including written and verbal.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
