Job Description Position SummaryThe Driver is responsible for providing transportation for clients, goods and services of The Healing Place.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Transports clients to other THP facilities
- Transports clients to any necessary appointments such as GED classes, parenting classes and 12-step meetings as well as non-emergency medical situations
- Picks up charitable donations and delivers to facilities
- Maintains a maintenance log of vehicle
- Maintains a driving log of hours and trips
- Assists with other functions within the department as needed
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with no history of DUI or felony charges related to the operation of a vehicle
- Ability to occasionally lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds and may be requested to assist with lifting heavier items
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Superior organizational and time management skills
