Shifts
- 2nd shift:
Monday-Friday 6pm-2:30am($18.10/hr) - B Crew: (Tues.
-Fri.) 6pm-6am ($18.10/hr) - C Crew (Split Shift):
Friday & Saturday 6am-6pm AND Sunday & Monday 6pm-6am($18.30/hr)
Pay:
Starting at $17.75/hr (plus shift premiums)
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing the movement of materials and products. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse processes, safety protocols, and the ability to operate various equipment.
Duties- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, hi-los, and forklifts
- Accurately track inventory levels using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF scanners to ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
- Organize and store materials in designated areas to optimize space and accessibility.
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all products are accounted for and properly documented.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure safety compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team members to build pallets for shipment while adhering to quality control standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols to prevent accidents.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanning technology is advantageous.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes safely.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA regulations.
