Warehouse Workers, often referred to as Package Handlers, play a crucial role in loading and unloading packages from trailers or brown trucks. Additionally, they sort packages to ensure correct destination delivery. This diverse and energetic team thrives in a fast-paced environment. The position is based in E-Town, supporting the returns group for a K-12 ramp-up, available on 1st and 2nd shifts.
Responsibilities- Load and unload packages in and out of trailers and trucks.
- Sort packages to ensure accurate delivery to destinations.
- Support the returns group within the warehouse.
- Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in packing, inventory, and order picking.
- Proficient in general labor and material handling.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Experience in shipping and receiving.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with warehouse operations and returns.
- Proficiency in rework, loading, unloading, and lifting.
This position offers long-term contract stability with consistent hours. Employees enjoy being part of a collaborative and energetic team.
Work EnvironmentThe work takes place in a warehouse environment, specifically in the returns section in E-Town. The facility is equipped with overhead fans; however, it can be hot during summer and cooler in winter months.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Louisville, KY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
