Warehouse Specialist

Job Summary

The Warehouse Specialist will process incoming and outgoing shipments from the warehouse and organize the warehouse to ensure efficient shipment storage. Compensation ranges from $18 to $22 per hour depending on performance, changes in responsibility, and experience.

• Assist as needed in loading and unloading trucks and/or containers for forward movement via interstate commerce.
• Crate and uncrate shipments as needed, including stenciling, labeling, and banding.
• Clean and organize the warehouse.
• Check in and out shipments from the warehouse and keep locator file up to date.
• Deliver shipments as needed.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs on a regular basis.
• Knowledge of company systems.
• Ability to make decisions relating to the warehouse.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures.

• Preferred high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Preferred:
  Previous warehouse experience.
• Preferred:
  Previous experience in logistics and transportation.

• Mainly indoors.
• Lifting in excess of 40 lbs frequently.
• Standing or walking majority of the time.
