** Position Summary
** The Logistics Team Member focuses primarily on order fulfillment, packing, and shipping processes to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and is committed to maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
** Responsibilities
* ** Order Fulfillment:
Accurately pick and pack products based on customer orders to meet shipping deadlines.
* Shipping & Distribution:
Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling, packing, and coordinating with carriers.
* Warehouse Organization:
Maintain a clean, organized workspace to ensure safe and efficient operations.
* Quality Control:
Inspect outbound orders for accuracy, ensuring products are damage-free and properly packed.
* Equipment Operation:
Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
* Documentation:
Complete required paperwork and electronic records related to outbound shipments.
** Personal Attributes and Experience
*** High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or similar environment preferred.
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanners is a plus.
* Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions within the warehouse environment.
** Work Environment
** May involve standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods. Flexible shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on operational needs.
