WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING:- Leadership and Supervision: Assign work and provide instructions to warehouse associates, setting clear expectations and holding team members accountable.
- Operational Management: Ensure all customer orders are picked, shipped accurately, and within required time frames.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accuracy in inventory through effective organization and detailed record-keeping.
- Safety and Compliance: Uphold safety standards, ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for all stakeholders, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any operational discrepancies and improve processes to prevent future issues.
- Equipment Operation: Operate cherry pickers, forklifts and other material handling equipment as necessary.
- Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate documentation for all warehouse activities and provide reports to management.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Lead or similar supervisory role in a warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in using warehouse software and systems.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to physically handle the demands of the job, including lifting up to 75 lbs with assistance. - High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in logistics is a plus.
