Maintenance Assistance

Diamond Grove Center, a 61‑bed behavioral psychiatric hospital in Louisville, Miss., is seeking an experienced Maintenance Assistance. This full‑time position runs Monday‑Friday with on‑call duties as required. You will perform general maintenance work, including but not limited to carpentry, electrical, mechanical, housekeeping, fire safety, disaster response, and security. Responsibilities also include maintaining facility grounds, trash removal, landscaping, vehicle upkeep, supply delivery, daily facility checks, HVAC filter changes, vent vacuuming, pressure washing, and other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• Minimum of five years maintenance experience.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
• Physical capacity to perform heavy work – pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds, and lifting over 50 pounds with assistance.
