Responsibilities

Registered Nurse Diamond Grove Center is searching for a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse for our Nursing Department. This position will be fulltime and is a Baylor position in which you will work only on the weekends, from 7:00pm-7:00am Saturday and Sunday.

Diamond Grove Center is a 85 bed, behavioral psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful neighborhood of Louisville, Miss. Diamond Grove Center features individual units for children, adolescents, and offers inpatient care acute care, as well as residential treatment for adolescents. As the Registered Nurse you will help with the care of the patients that are admitted to Diamond Grove Center. Also, as a Registered Nurse you will facilitate the orderly admission of psychiatric patients to Diamond Grove Center, balancing the patient’s comfort and ease within the organization’s operating needs. An ability to establish therapeutic rapport and verbally de-escalate patients in crisis are skills that will help make you successful in this role as you facilitate the orderly admissions of patients to the facility.

1. Must have a high school diploma or GED.

2. Must have an Associate's Degree in nursing.

3. Must have a least 6 months experiencee in a healthcare setting, 1 year general nursing experience.

4. Must have a Mississippi Registered Nurse Licensure.

5. Must be eligible to qualify for CPI and CPR certification.
