Barker Ross are currently recruiting for an experienced Telehandler Operator to work on a new-build housing development in Woodhall Spa.
This is a long-term opportunity, with approximately 12-18 months of work available.
The client is ideally looking for someone who is happy to muck in with general site duties, making good and assisting other trades when the telehandler is not in use. Candidates willing to undertake additional site duties may have the opportunity to remain on the project for longer.
Duties- Operating a telehandler safely on a new-build housing site.
- Loading, unloading and transporting materials around site.
- Assisting trades with material deliveries and movement.
- Carrying out daily machine checks.
- Helping with making good and general site assistance when required.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Following all site health and safety procedures.
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket.
- Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.
- New-build housing experience preferred.
- Willingness to assist with general site duties and making good.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
- Available to start ASAP.
- Immediate start available.
- Approximately 12-18 months of work.
- Potential for extended work for candidates willing to assist with additional site duties.
- Working hours approximately 7:30am - 4:00pm.
