Position: Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) LOVEJOY GA 30250

Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you'll have the opportunity to work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally you may work with products from other companies in the stores you service.

  • Starting hourly pay rate of $14.00 – $15.50, depending on skills and experience.
  • Paid live, hands‑on training and virtual classroom training.

  • Part‑time position with a variable schedule.
  • Average weekly hours between 7–10 hrs.
  • Availability required during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends.
  • Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
Role and Responsibilities

You'll perform service work in various retail stores such as grocery, drug, department and mass retailers. The position consists of three major components:

  • Day‑to‑day engagement: use a Hallmark‑provided mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory inside and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback and complete required merchandising surveys. Interact professionally with store employees and customers, and be responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
  • Holiday support: work additional days, extended hours and possibly on holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
  • Department resets: support installations and various tasks like building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Two‑week notice is given for remodel assignments, which may include evenings or weekends.
  • Team support: as part of Hallmark’s field organization, support other merchandisers as needed in their territories.
Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and urgency. You must consistently push, pull, lift and carry cartons, merchandise and fixtures up to 30 pounds during the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs and use step ladders throughout your workday.

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Comfortable operating a digital handheld device to read documents and interpret information.
  • Access to Wi‑Fi and the Internet.
  • Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores.
