We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager who is passionate about serving clients, developing team members, improving processes, and helping shape the future of our growing firm.
Position Overview- Manage tax engagements from planning through filing and delivery.
- Review complex tax returns and provide tax planning and consulting services.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and a mentor to team members.
- Help develop and refine workflows, processes, and systems that support firm growth and efficiency.
- Partner with firm leadership to improve operations, client experience, and team performance.
- Workflow Management & Process Optimization
- Evaluate and improve tax workflow processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and accountability.
- Develop standardized procedures, documentation, and best practices.
- Create scalable systems that support continued growth and operational excellence.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement practical solutions.
- Improve turnaround times, capacity planning, and project management.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
- Experience reviewing tax returns and managing client engagements.
- Demonstrated experience managing tax workflows and engagement pipelines.
- Experience improving processes, systems, and operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation.
- Leadership, supervisory, or mentoring experience.
- Tax planning and advisory experience.
- Experience helping a growing firm develop procedures and operational best practices.
- Tax Season:
Full-time, 50= hours per week - Off-Season:
Reduced schedule based on workload. - Experience helping a growing firm develop procedures and operational best practices.

Compensation is dependent upon experience, credentials, technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and demonstrated success in workflow management and process improvement.
Non-Licensed Tax Manager: $90,000 – $110,000 annually.
Licensed CPA or EA Tax Manager: $115,000 – $145,000 annually.
Additional compensation opportunities may be available based on performance, leadership contributions, and firm growth initiatives.
