About the Role
We’re looking for a Field Craft Development Specialist to support the growth and development of our craft workforce. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role working directly alongside Foremen and crews to strengthen skills, improve quality and production, and support career progression.
This role is focused on coaching and development—not supervision
. You’ll partner with field leadership to identify skill gaps and provide real‑time, on‑site training to help our teams perform at their best.
- Partner with Foremen to identify employee development needs and skill gaps
- Provide hands‑on coaching and training to Laborers, Form setters, Finishers, and other craft roles
- Observe work in the field and deliver real‑time feedback to improve quality, safety, and efficiency
- Support onboarding of new hires by reinforcing jobsite expectations and standards
- Help track training progress and recommend opportunities for advancement
- Identify high‑potential employees and contribute to workforce development planning
- Reinforce proper concrete methods, tools, sequencing, and company standards
- Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Document training progress, coaching efforts, and development plans
- 5+ years of concrete construction experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge across multiple craft disciplines (Laborer, Form setter, Finisher)
- Experience training, mentoring, or coaching others is highly preferred
- Ability to influence and develop others without formal authority
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Ability to work in active jobsite environments and travel frequently
- 100% field‑based role across Colorado, Arizona, and Wyoming
- Full‑time, with day or night shift depending on project needs
- Outdoor construction environment in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical demands of the job
- $73,000 – $90,000
