As a Construction Materials Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of major construction projects throughout the Loveland area. Your work will directly impact the integrity of roads, buildings, and infrastructure, making this a meaningful and rewarding career path.
What You'll Do- Perform field testing on soils, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates to ensure materials meet project specifications
- Conduct quality assurance checks on active construction sites
- Travel to various job sites throughout the Englewood area using a company vehicle
- Accurately document test results and log site data, including GPS coordinates
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency in all tasks
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Geoscience, or a related field
- Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply, no prior experience required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable working 40+ hours per week, with occasional Saturdays
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Paid, hands-on training with experienced professionals
- Structured pay increases every 4 to 6 months based on performance and certifications
- Company vehicle provided for daily job site travel
