Colorado | Up to $160,000 Base + 20% Bonus + Up to $8,000/Month Per Diem
A leading General Contractor with 500+ employees is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to join its team on a major 300MW hyperscale data center project in Colorado. The company has a strong reputation for delivering large-scale, technically complex projects across the US and is a recognised leader in the mission-critical sector, partnering with some of the world's largest technology companies.
About the RoleReporting directly to the Senior Safety Manager, you will support the day-to-day site safety program, OSHA compliance, inspections, subcontractor coordination and overall project safety performance.
Responsibilities- Supporting implementation of the project safety program.
- Conducting site safety inspections and audits.
- Ensuring OSHA and project-specific safety compliance.
- Coordinating with subcontractors on safety performance.
- Identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions.
- Supporting incident investigations and reporting.
- Conducting safety meetings, orientations and training.
- Maintaining safety documentation and project records.
- Working closely with project management and field teams to maintain a strong safety culture.
- Previous Safety experience on mission-critical, advanced technology or data center projects.
- Experience working on large-scale, technically complex construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
- OSHA 30 required.
- CHST, CSP or OSHA 500 is a plus.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Experience working with subcontractors and project stakeholders.
- Previous Safety experience on mission-critical, advanced technology or data center projects.
- Experience working on large-scale, technically complex construction projects.
