Position Summary

The Parking Attendant will be tasked with providing the highest level of customer service for guests at the Blue Arena and The Ranch parking lots to further improve their event experience. You would be responsible for your post location and all things involved with ingress and egress of your scheduled parking event.

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.50.

Colorado PT:
Benefits for Part‑time roles include a 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.

This position will remain open until April 10, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and helpful directions to patrons into and out of the parking lots.
  • Keep a calm and inviting demeaner when interacting with patrons throughout the entirety of the event.
  • Always maintain a safe environment for you and the guests.
  • Enforce all Oak View Group policies and procedures.
  • Prepare for each event by acquiring all pertinent show information.
  • Move patrons through the entry points and parking lot as quickly and safely as possible.
  • When patrons are walking into the venue, help enforce the clear‑bag policy.
  • Direct patrons through the proper entrances and areas that are allowed for public access.
  • Ask and utilize event supervisors and management staff for assistance whenever needed and report all suspicious behaviour.
  • Greet and provide direction and assistance to premium parking guests while directing them to the correct access point.
  • Greet incoming guests and accommodate their needs and requests.
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work flexible hours including, but not limited to, nights, weekends, evenings, and holidays, with extended hours ranging from a minimum of 3 hours up to 10 hours.
  • Prior traffic experience is a plus.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • General knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
  • Must be able to work outdoors, be exposed to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold, dust, dirt, extreme noise and potentially hazardous materials.
  • Ability to withstand prolonged walking, standing, bending, pushing, stooping and kneeling without restrictions.
  • Effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in written form.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, colour vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
