Position Overview:This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in the delivery of high-quality, comprehensive dental care. Our practice offers a wide range of services, focusing on general dentistry, as well as serving patients with Medicaid and PPO insurance plans.
KeyResponsibilities and Duties:
- Clinical Assistance:
Expertly assist our dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and comfortable experience for the patient. - Expanded Duties:
Fully utilize your Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) certifications, performing delegated functions with precision and compliance. - Patient Engagement and
Education:
Engage proactively with patients to enhance their understanding of their individual oral health needs, treatment plans, and proper home care. Your role includes providing clear and compassionate instruction to maximize patient compliance and positive outcomes. - Sterilization and Infection Control:
Maintain the highest standards of sterilization, cleanliness, and infection control within the clinical areas. - Operational Support:
Assist with inventory management, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring all necessary materials and instruments are ready before and after each patient appointment.
- Proven Experience:
Demonstrated experience as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant is a non-negotiable requirement. - Strong Leadership
Skills:
The ability to take initiative, manage clinical flow, and guide patients through their appointments effectively. - Exceptional Organizational
Skills:
