While nuclear experience is preferred, candidates from other highly regulated or complex industrial environments are encouraged to apply. You’ll work with cross-functional engineering teams, supply chain partners, and stakeholders to deliver reliable, compliant HVAC solutions for mission-critical facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support HVAC system design, analysis, modifications, and implementation across project phases
- Support requirements-driven engineering and maintain strong technical documentation and traceability
- Contribute through planning, design, execution, commissioning/turnover, and closeout
- Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams for equipment sourcing, vendor technical reviews, and submittals
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and present technical updates to clients and leadership as needed
- Manage multiple deliverables with strong prioritization, deadline tracking, and follow-through
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Apply innovative thinking and adaptability while maintaining safety and quality expectations
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Depending on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology, or Engineering Science may also be accepted
- Minimum 7 years of related experience
- Good knowledge of project life cycles, methodologies, and execution phases
- Good understanding of HVAC engineering principles within a complex facility environment
- Familiarity with supply chain and procurement practices
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation fundamentals
- Strong stakeholder coordination, teamwork, and communication skills (including presentations)
- Strong organizational skills: prioritization, multitasking, and deadline tracking
- Demonstrated problem-solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement mindset
- Nuclear industry experience (preferred, not required)
- Experience working under controlled documentation and quality-focused processes in regulated environments
- Background supporting industrial, manufacturing, power generation, or critical facility infrastructure
