Job Title: Automation Engineer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Design, develop, and maintain automated systems and processes in a manufacturing environment.

• Build and deploy automation systems from design through implementation
• Integrate IT systems
• Develop process control strategies and validate system performance
• Manage vendor and integrator relationships
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation
• Diagnose and resolve system failures via root cause analysis
• Train end-users on automation systems
• Evaluate new technologies to improve automation capabilities

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 7+ years of automation engineering in manufacturing
• Proficiency with Automation platforms (PLC, HMI, DCS, etc.)
• Programming skills in Python, Java, C++, or LabVIEW
• Experience with industrial and collaborative robotics
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles for industrial environments
• Knowledge of industry safety standards and protocols
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Jira, Minitab, Solid Works

• Master's degree in a related discipline
• Project management experience
