We are looking for a passionate Senior Water Resources Project Manager to lead the delivery of cutting‑edge water resource projects across Colorado, the West Central region, and beyond. You’ll work with a dynamic team to ensure excellence in planning, design, client satisfaction, and project delivery.

What You’ll Do
  • Project Management:
    Coordinate directly with clients and lead Jacobs internal teams to deliver planning, modeling, conceptual design, and permitting related to water supply, dams, conveyance, distribution, conservation, and other types of water resources projects.
  • Guide Teams and Subconsultants:
    Provide leadership and support to internal staff and external partners to complete diverse multi‑discipline projects successfully, specifically with regard to scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Oversee Technical Work:
    Direct the preparation of studies, reports, models, conceptual designs, and cost estimates for design and planning projects.
  • Support Marketing and Business Development:
    Identify, position for, pursue, and secure projects, including for new and current clients, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
  • Mentor and Develop Talent:
    Support the professional growth of team members through project assignments, coaching, training, and performance feedback.
Here’s what you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Colorado or ability to transfer registration from another state.
  • At least 20 years of professional experience in water‑related engineering.
  • At least 5 years of Project Management experience in water‑related engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the preparation of proposals, contracts, studies, conceptual designs, cost estimates, and reports.
  • Demonstrated commitment to producing high‑quality deliverables.

The base salary range for this position is $ to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
