Speech Language Pathologist

Location:

UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies, Loveland, CO

Department: MCR Speech Path

Work Schedule:

PRN, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $36.19 - $54.28 per hour, dependent on experience.

This position is onsite; no hybrid or remote option.

Minimum Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies certification required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider: BLS through AHA or American Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date; card good through 60 days after hire
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ speech, language, voice, and related abilities.
  • Create and execute personalized therapy plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
  • Provide extensive education to patients, families, and caregivers about communication or swallowing disorders, prognosis, therapy techniques, and home practice strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, audiologists, teachers to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.

  • Provides top‑of‑scope practice in direct patient care to support imaging and radiologic procedures
  • Values a multidisciplinary team approach for exceptional outcomes
  • Models proficiency by precepting staff new to imaging and/or UCHealth

  • Contributes to safety and quality at the point of care
