Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • MA certification or registration (Medical Assistant I)
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) with card in hand before start date; card must remain valid for at least 60 days after hire
Responsibilities

Additional duties include:

  • Gathering vital signs, collecting specimens, communicating changes in patient condition, and general patient care
  • Assisting to keep the care area stocked, cleaned, and orderly
  • Maintaining equipment and medical supplies
  • Performing administrative or clerical duties such as filing, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration
