Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

Antech, part of Mars Science & Diagnostics, is seeking an experienced Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The role supports the existing cloud environment, drives migration, automates deployments, ensures availability, and optimizes cost and performance.

• Deploy and manage Azure IaaS and PaaS resources.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
• Monitor and maintain performance, availability, and security using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and related tools.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide timely resolution.
• Automate deployments using ARM templates, Bicep, Power Shell, or Terraform.
• Deploy and manage firewall for cloud.
• Configure and maintain networks across cloud-to-cloud, cloud-to-onprem environments.
• Manage identity and access with Azure Active Directory, RBAC, and Conditional Access policies.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies, perform audits and updates.
• Administer Palo Alto firewalls and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and provide after‑hours support for critical incidents.
• Stay current with Azure updates and best practices to continuously improve reliability.

• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104) or equivalent certification.
• 7+ years hands‑on experience managing Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform or Bicep).
• Experience with Dev Ops tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, or Jenkins.
• 2+ years experience with networking and Palo Alto firewalls.
• 5+ years experience with Linux systems.
• Exposure to hybrid cloud environments or on‑prem to Azure migrations.
• Knowledge of Azure cost management and budgeting tools.
• Experience in ITIL‑based support environments.
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Power Shell, Azure CLI, ARM templates).

Extensive sitting, phone, and computer use; occasional lifting up to 15 lbs; vision and hearing requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus; ability to communicate verbally via telephone and in person; fluency in English.
