This is an onsite dayshift role Monday through Friday and will be part of the Technical Support Service Team in our Loveland, Colorado location.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Technical Support, the Technical Product Advisor I will provide world-class service and support to all internal and external customers via the contact center. The Technical Advisor will be successful through mentoring and leadership within the department, and by having an advanced understanding of internal systems, products and applications, soft skills, vertical markets and sales lead identification.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
- Handle basic incoming technical and customer support questions from internal and external customers providing prompt, accurate answers.
- Identify and manage customer escalations and utilize cross-functional relationships to negotiate 'win-win' solutions.
- Provide efficient, technical troubleshooting support on testing systems and Hach chemistry methods.
- Act as a liaison between Technical Support and all cross-functional departments to relay Voice of the Customer, (VOC), and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify sales opportunities, understand the industries, vertical markets, and products, and submit leads to drive appropriate up-sell and cross-sell opportunities to the customer.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Either of these two backgrounds will fit our team:
- One year of experience with Analytical Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Sciences or equivalent
- OR
- One year of mechanical/electrical aptitude
Plus these requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with MS Office.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, technical support, field service, and/or previous supervisor experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
It would be an asset if you have:
- BA or BS degree preferred
- Experience in one or more of Hach's key markets (drinking water, wastewater, and industrial) preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce and/or Oracle (ERP) preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior call center experience

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $25.00 - $27.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
