Supply Chain Support Engineer

• Strong knowledge of Kanban methodology, including pull sequences, material replenishment, inventory movement, WIP control, and finished goods handling.
• Experience using Oracle to set up parts within a Kanban system.
• Skilled in setting up Kanban sizing, card types, signal points, and replenishment rules.
• Developed visual management systems for Kanban boards, bins, racks, and signal cards.
• Set inventory levels (min/max), lead times, and replenishment strategies aligned with demand patterns.
• Experience in defining supermarket locations, flow racks, and delivery routes within the facility.
• Warehouse optimization, including kitting processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft tools, particularly Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experienced in project planning, monitoring, and status reporting.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant Engineering field.
• Set up and configure parts and materials in Oracle ERP to align with Kanban processes.
• Maintain accurate system data for inventory levels, part master data, and replenishment rules.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze inventory levels, calculate Kanban sizes, and generate performance reports.
• Develop dashboards, charts, and trackers to monitorsupplychain
  
  KPIs and Kanban efficiency.
• Design and implement Kanban systems for inventory control, material replenishment, and WIP management.
• Derive pull sequences to ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines.
• Introduce Kanban card types, signal points, and replenishment triggers to maintain lean inventory flow.
• Define inventory policies, including minimum/maximum levels, reorder points, and safety stock levels.
• Establish replenishment strategies tailored to consumption rates and demand patterns.
• Design and deploy visual Kanban systems (boards, bins, racks, signal cards) for floor-level visibility.
• Define supermarket locations, flow racks, and delivery routes for efficient material staging and movement.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to optimize internal logistics and material presentation.
• Communicate effectively with production, procurement, warehouse, engineering, and quality teams to coordinatesupplychainactivities.
• Provide clear documentation and updates on Kanban-related projects and initiatives
