We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support procurement operations and ensure the timely flow of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods across our supply chain. This role is critical in maintaining strong vendor relationships, managing purchase orders, and supporting inventory accuracy.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support procurement operations and ensure the timely flow of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods across our supply chain. This role is critical in maintaining strong vendor relationships, managing purchase orders, and supporting inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs), confirming pricing and lead times
  • Coordinate raw materials and packaging deliveries to co-manufacturers
  • Arrange finished goods transportation from co-manufacturers to warehouse
  • Communicate with vendors to clarify order details and resolve issues
  • Monitor and track purchase orders from placement through delivery
  • Report on delivery schedules and proactively manage delays
  • Track and manage expedited orders
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and shipment issues/returns
  • Partner with inventory team to maintain accurate inventory levels and par levels
  • Hold vendors accountable to agreed delivery timelines
  • Maintain organized and accessible procurement records
  • Assist with creation and management of Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of purchasing/procurement experience preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Pro Trace strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM) management
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
