General SummaryThe ECS LDAR Technician is responsible for conducting air monitoring and emissions measurement activities, performing equipment calibrations and maintenance, and collecting and organizing field data for air quality compliance and emissions assessment programs.
Essential Job Functions- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to safety standards and practices, legal regulations, and alerting others to potential hazards.
- Perform all duties as assigned, adhering to TEAM’s Core Values.
- Perform EPA Method 21 hydrocarbon leak detection using a portable gas analyzer and electronic data collector.
- Conduct analyzer certification, calibration, and routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates optimally.
- Complete all activities for assigned monitoring routes within the designated time frame, ensuring comprehensive monitoring and accurate reporting.
- Identify leaks according to applicable regulations and attach leak source tags.
- Perform visual assessments for hydrocarbon leaks and report equipment issues.
- Maintain LDAR component identification and record changes in the inventory.
- Provide daily ECS reports and communicate with site personnel and management regarding equipment changes.
- Communicate with plant personnel as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One or more years of experience in an industrial or plant environment preferred.
- Travel requirements: 50%-75%.
- Position based out of a branch or site location.
- Work involves indoor and outdoor activities in a plant environment.
- Interaction with crew members, supervisors, and client personnel.
- Work in areas with high noise levels around machinery.
- Must wear safety equipment as required.
- Travel between multiple sites and tolerate climate changes.
- Periodic out-of-town travel may be required.
- Extensive walking required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
- Work at heights up to 250 ft. with safety equipment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Good observation and manual dexterity.
- Mobility to access various site areas.
- Attention to detail and ability to focus.
