Pay Range: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Hours:

1st shift (6am-2pm), 2nd Shift (2pm-10pm), 3rd Shift (10pm-6am)

• Operate machine to produce product which meets required specifications at a high rate of production while maintaining quality standards.
• Set up machine.
• Complete in-process quality control procedures.
• Calculate usages and retrieve raw materials.
• Log production data into database.
• Two essential job functions of every position at Rubadue Wire: ensure the safety of all employees and improve something every day.

• Knowledge, skills and/or abilities in accordance with the following: ability to perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply and divide) on various units of measure; apply basic math to whole numbers, fractions and decimals; apply data and situational analysis to make sound judgments on operational procedures; ability to make appropriate decisions regarding problem solving, machine setup and product quality; moderate knowledge and skill of mechanical operations.
• Physical & Mental Functions:

• Ability to frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 55 lbs.
• Ability to see small defects and differentiate colors during in-process quality control procedures.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

The environment is typical of many indoor manufacturing facilities. The noise is moderate. Employees work around moving and heated equipment. Shifts are 8 hours and may require availability to work all 3 shifts as needed.

Measuring devices including micrometers and microscopes. Use of powered hand tools and basic hand tools. Occasional use of grinding wheels, lathes and torches.

High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 1-2 years prior experience in a manufacturing or mechanical occupation is a plus.
