EHS Manager

Founded in 2020, the company is headquartered in Centennial, Colorado, with additional facilities in Knoxville, Tennessee, Loveland Ohio, and Mount Vernon, Ohio. Beehive is committed to grow and advance the defense industrial base while manufacturing exclusively in the USA. This role will be located at our Centennial, Colorado facility.

Beehive Industries is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental, health, and safety programs. This roleis responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, fostering a strong safety culture, and supporting safe operations across additive manufacturing, engine testing, casting, laboratories, and other manufacturing activities. The EHS Manager will partner closely with site leadership and cross-functional teams to execute strategic EHS initiatives while managing day-to-day EHS operations and program effectiveness.

• Champion proactive safety initiatives such as hazard identification programs, safety observations, risk assessments, and employee engagement efforts to prevent injuries and improve overall site safety performance
• Independently identify, characterize, and mitigate risks at the Beehive Loveland facility
• Interact and partner directly with site and functional leadership in the development and execution of focused EHS initiatives and objectives
• Build and support a strong safety culture through leadership to front line operators
• Perform investigations into the root cause of injuries, events, and near misses. Ensure appropriate actions are taken to correct and prevent recurrence of unsafe conditions and/or behaviors
• Build and deliver effective EHS training to site employees
• Write, implement, and manage EHS and programs,policies and procedures
• Responsible for regulatory compliance of all local, state, and federal requirements and interact with regulators and key stakeholders as applicable to the Knoxville operations
• Effectively manage manufacturing byproducts including Hazardous Waste; prioritizing compliance,wasteand cost minimization
• Collaborate closely with site team on change management projects

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field required
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, or equivalent are preferred

• Typically requires a minimum of 7+ years of experience in environmental health and safety within manufacturing, research and development, testing, or industrial environments
• Experience leading EHS programs and initiatives across multiple operational areas
• Demonstrated success implementing safety culture improvements, compliance programs, and risk mitigation strategies
