Pay: $20.87 – $27.13 per hour, dependent on relevant experience.
This position is onsite only and does not offer hybrid or remote options.

SummaryProvides care of urologic patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or provider and assists with minor procedures.
Responsibilities- Obtains patient history and vital signs; explains procedures, documents care, and communicates findings with RN and physician.
- Assists with urologic radiographic and ultrasound examinations and cystoscopies; performs UDS studies with the provider present.
- Assists with minor surgical procedures; performs urinary catheter insertions and removals; performs laboratory duties; assists with simple dressing changes.
- Communicates prescription refill requests to physician and calls in refills to pharmacy; performs delegated clinical tasks with a written provider order; collects or prepares specimens; administers medications and injections per practice‑specific guidelines.
- Sends specimens to testing laboratory; communicates abnormal results to providers.
- Cleans and restocks rooms, supplies and equipment; transports patients.
- Requires critical‑thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision; able to work in a fast‑paced environment and take appropriate action.
- Minimum required education:
Completion of a Medical Assistant program through an accredited school or documentation of a medical program that meets the criteria of a medical assistant program (e.g., military prepared corpsman or medic). Trained in urological procedures through vocational or post‑hire on‑the‑job physician training. - Required licensure/certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider; any other relevant certification as determined at position level. - Minimum experience:
1 year of healthcare‑related experience. - BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer; BLS or CPR card must be valid through sixty days of hire.
