About the Role
UCHealth is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to fill a float position in the Northern Colorado Primary Care team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, interested in working full-time, and focused on excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary care services as a floating provider across multiple locations.
- Support family medicine/primary care workflows and collaborate with physicians and staff.
- Maintain patient records using EPIC EMR and ensure compliance with clinic protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.
- 2-3 years of family medicine or primary care experience.
- Experience seeing pediatrics preferred.
- EPIC EMR knowledge required.
- Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
- Unrestricted license to practice in Colorado.
- Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) issued by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants.
- Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed.
- Eligibility to provide Medicare and Medicaid services and maintain provider status.
- Exclusion and sanctions free status with HHS/OIG and GSA.
- Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate privileges.
- Prescriptive authority per medical staff privileging process.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- Full or provisional prescriptive authority eligibility.
- Master's degree in Nursing and graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Nurse Practitioner Certification issued by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.
- Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license from the State Board of Nursing or compact privileges under the multi-state Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate privileges.
- Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe all commonly prescribed medications.
- Eligibility to provide Medicare and Medicaid services and maintain provider status.
- Exclusion and sanctions free status with HHS/OIG and GSA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- Competitive pay range: $110,577 – $144,966 annually, dependent on relevant experience.
- Relocation bonus up to $10,000 if eligible.
- Paid malpractice coverage.
- Continuing medical education (CME) up to $3,500 and up to 5 days annually.
