Position Overview
UCHealth Brain & Spine Clinic in Loveland, CO is recruiting a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a growing team of six neurosurgeons and thirteen advanced practice providers. The role involves clinic care, inpatient rounding, and operating room first assist with a four‑day work week (rotating weekends) totaling 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver high‑quality patient care across outpatient, inpatient, and surgical settings.
- Participate in continuous professional development and quality‑improvement initiatives.
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
- Unrestricted PA license in Colorado.
- PA‑C certification (NCCPA) required at hire and maintained throughout employment.
- Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications.
- Eligibility for Medicare/Medicaid provider status and no exclusion from federal programs.
- Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate privileges.
- Prescriptive authority per medical staff privileging process.
- BLS certification.
- Master’s degree in Nursing with graduate of an accredited NP program.
- NP certification (ANCC or AANPCB) required at hire and maintained throughout employment.
- Unrestricted NP license in Colorado or compact privileges.
- Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications.
- Eligibility for Medicare/Medicaid provider status and no exclusion from federal programs.
- Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate privileges.
- BLS certification.
The compensated package includes a base salary range of $119,600 to $156,796 (based on experience) and additional compensation such as a quarterly Quality Value Incentive Plan up to $10,000, relocation bonus up to $10,000, and paid malpractice.
