MCR Surgical Specialty Unit

Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

FLEX (6 weeks nights, 6 weeks days)

$35.29 - $54.71 per hour, dependent on experience.

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
• BLS or CPR card must be valid for at least sixty days from hire.

• Provides top‑of‑scope practice in direct patient care using the nursing process.

• Directly cares for patients in specialty Acute Care (Med‑Surg) units of moderate to high acuity.
• APMN core curriculum and specialty certification standards are applied via evidence‑based care models for each unit.
• Collaborates with Clinical Educators to guide individualized specialty education and training, ensuring competency validation during clinical orientation.
