Location: UCHealth UCHlth Med Ctr of the Rockies, Loveland, CO, USA

Department: MCR Trauma Surgical

FTE: Full Time, 0.900, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Nights

Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 / hour (dependent on experience)

Position Type: Onsite, no hybrid or remote option

Incentive: Night Shift Incentive Program pays $1,600 quarterly ($6,400/year) to full‑time night shift RNs and LPNs

Minimum Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years’ experience.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; card must be valid for 60 days of hire.
Responsibilities
  • Provides top‑scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
  • Values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence‑based practice.
  • Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
  • Welcomes new knowledge in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment.
  • Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
  • Provides direct care in the specialty Acute Care (Med‑Surg) units of moderate to high patient acuity.
  • Applies AMSN core curriculum and specialty certification standards in evidence‑based care models for each unit.
