Department: MCR Surgical Specialty Unit
Work Schedule:
72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Night shifts available
Pay: $35.29 – $54.71 per hour, dependent on experience
Position:
Onsite; no hybrid or remote option
- Graduate of an accredited or state‑board‑approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years of experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS certification via the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross; BLS card must be current within 60 days of hire
- Provide direct patient care in an 18‑bed acute surgical specialty unit, primarily for non‑trauma surgical patients and medical patients requiring inpatient services
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver top‑scope practice and uphold evidence‑based care models
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes
- Precept and mentor new hires and other staff members, supporting their competency validation during clinical orientation
- Maintain patient safety and quality at the point of care in a fast‑paced, innovative environment
