Job Description

This position is eligible for a $2000 Sign on Bonus!

Responsibilities
  • Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, manage donor adverse events, and review laboratory test results.
  • Notify donors of unsuitable test results.
  • Follow guidance from Bio Life Medical Affairs and provide center level support of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS).
  • Coordinate with Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.
  • Support vaccination programs for employees (Hepatitis B, Seasonal Flu).
  • Manage employee incidents and coordinate further evaluation by occupational health/ER.
  • Act as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized, supporting investigations of local community pandemic threats.
  • Document donor reactions, physical examinations, blood testing, and serological protein electrophoresis (SPE).
  • Follow SOPs for medical emergencies, develop standing orders, and coordinate donor transport to emergency care facilities.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate-level recognized educational nursing program with state requirements.
  • Licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: LPN or LVN.
  • Current CPR and AED certification.
  • Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
  • Complete FDA approved training requirements for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
  • Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
Compensation & Benefits

U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $26.88 - $36.96. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives, medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) plan with company match, short- and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, well-being benefits. U.S. based employees are eligible for up to 80 hours of sick time per calendar year, new hires accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
