Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) – Bio Life Plasma Services (Takeda subsidiary) located in Loveland, CO, USA.
Responsibilities- Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, and blood testing.
- Manage donor adverse events and perform evaluations of donor reactions following SOPs.
- Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable test outcomes.
- Refer medical or technical issues to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs as required.
- Support hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
- Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/ER for further evaluation.
- Serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS, supporting investigations related to pandemic threats.
- High school diploma or equivalent with graduate-level nursing education meeting state requirements.
- Current state license or certification:
Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA). - Current CPR and AED certification.
- Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy.
- Completion of FDA‑approved Bio Life Medical Support Specialist training.
- At least two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
U.S. hourly wage range: $38.72 – $53.24. Actual wage may vary based on qualifications, experience, skills, and location.
