Plasma Center Nurse- LPN

Job Overview

Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) at Bio Life Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. The role reports to the Plasma Center Manager and supports day‑to‑day plasma collection operations, donor eligibility assessment, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

• Determine donor eligibility and manage donor adverse events.
• Conduct informed consent, AIDS education, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of serological protein electrophoresis (SPE) results.
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including standing orders and emergency transport.
• Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or medical/technical guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and determine requisite occupational health evaluation.
• Coordinate with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) guidance for employee incidents.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.
• Provide center‑level support of environmental, health and safety (EHS) and follow guidance from Bio Life Medical Affairs.

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of a recognized nursing program with state licensing.
• Current LPN or LVN license in the state where duties will be performed.
• CPR and AED certification.
• State‑required basic IV therapy competency.
• Completion of FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Minimum two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Hourly wage range: $28.16 – $38.72 in Loveland, CO. Actual pay depends on qualifications and experience. Eligible for a $2,000 sign‑on bonus.
