Role Overview
Provides direct patient care in an orthopedics/surgical unit, utilizing top-of-scope nursing practices within a fast-paced, innovative environment. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes, prioritizing safety, wellness, and evidence-based care. Acts as a preceptor to new staff and contributes to a culture of continuous learning and quality improvement.
ResponsibilitiesDelivering care to patients with moderate to high acuity, following evidence-based models aligned with specialty standards. Ensuring secure safety and quality at the point of care, and supporting team-based approaches to improve patient experiences.
Qualifications & Skills- Current Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- BLS certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross with in-hand card
